We strive to process all book orders placed Mon.—Fri. by EOB the next day, for shipping the following morning. However, processing can take up to 48 hours.
Sat.—Sun. book orders are shipped on Tuesdays.

All apparel and select gift items are Made-To-Order and ship within 5—7 days of ordering. Once shipped, orders are generally received within 5 business days. All orders with  priority shipping are received within 1-3 days after shipping.

 

International Shipping

Our products can only be shipped via USPS standard international shipping at this time. Countries ineligible for shipping vary and will be confirmed at checkout.

EMAILS: Please pay attention to your emails from us, and check your spam folder if you don't receive any. We send a minimum of four (4) order updates that include your order confirmation, shipping notice, out for delivery and delivery notification. Each shipping update has your tracking number.

 

Holiday Shipping Deadlines 2023

Holiday guidelines apply to US orders only. Please reference USPS delivery estimates for standard International shipments.


Please ensure your order is placed by the dates listed below for arrival before Christmas. 

    • First Class Package: Order by Noon December 18th

    • Priority Mail: Order by Noon December 19th

    • Priority Mail Express: Order by Noon December 20th
      (This option appears for book-only orders)

    • Media Mail & Parcel Select Ground: Order by December 16th
    • (Only available for Book products)

Please note that our FREE standard shipping rate for book products is via USPS Media Mail, and can take up to eight (8) days or longer to deliver, and can only be selected for book products. We strongly encourage you to use our First Class or Priority Shipping options if you would like book orders to arrive sooner.

If there is an issue with your order, please contact us with your order number and we'd be happy to help.

DIGITAL DOWNLOAD POLICY

eBooks purchased from Affirm The Word that have not yet been downloaded are eligible for return within three (3) days of the purchase. eBooks that have been downloaded are not eligible for return. These are also traditional cloud-based e-Books that require an internet connection to read (like Kindle). They cannot be printed or downloaded to a local hard drive or your phone.

 

BOOK ITEMS

At Affirm The Word, there are no returns needed if there is any issue with the quality of your book item (i.e. missing pen, damaged binding, cover, and/or pages, etc.). Just let us know and will replace your items free of charge. You are then free to keep the old item or give it away.

Affirm The Word will provide a full refund or replacement item for orders that arrive damaged or incorrectly due to an error on our part, within 15 days after the order is delivered. Affirm The Word will also provide a full refund or replacement item for orders that are never delivered or deemed "lost in transit" by the USPS. 

However, if you are dissatisfied with an item in your order for any other reason, we will happily either provide a full refund less shipping charges, or exchange your item within 15 days per the conditions below. Just let us know and we'll take it from there.

Full Refunds or Exchanges | 1—15 days after delivery

For returns within the U.S., return shipping is on us for all orders returned within 15 days after the order is delivered. Any shipping fees paid via these two options are non-refundable. Please note that all items must be returned in new condition (i.e. unopened with original product tags, labels and/or packaging).

Items returned open with any signs of damage will incur a 15% processing charge to transition into our Blemished Beauty stock. 

Shop Credit |16—30 days after delivery

We will also accept returns unopened with original product tags, labels and/or packaging within 16-30 days after the order is delivered. However, return shipping label charges will be deducted from  the order and any shipping fees paid are non-refundable.

Please allow 10-14 business days for your refund to be processed after the return shipment has been received. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method on the order. Replacement items will be shipped out as quickly as possible.

  

APPAREL AND SELECT GIFT ITEMS

Made-To-Order apparel and select *gift items are NOT returnable. However,  we are happy to reprint a damaged garment, and/or replace a damaged gift (i.e. mug, keychain, bracelet, etc.) item at no charge to you.

*Our essential oil products are considered cosmetics and are therefore non-refundable. They should also be used within 45 days and stored within the packaging and/or a cool dark place.

TWO WAYS TO EXCHANGE

To exchange an item after receiving clearance from us, you can return your original item to us in one of two ways:

1) Simply repackage the item and mail it back to us with your own postage.

OR

2) We can send you a draft order for a return label. Once the label postage is paid, we'll email you the label to apply to your package and drop off at the post office.

In either case, once we receive the item we will ship out your replacement.

REPRINTS

Should your made-to-order apparel or gift product arrive damaged or broken, please contact us and we'll provide next steps for you to send us photos of the damage.

Once received, we'll go ahead and schedule your replacement order for processing.
