I felt quite honored that Cheryl asked me to write a character reference on her behalf. This opportunity gave me the chance to reflect back on our friendship over the past twenty years. In addition to being a devoted Christian, she is a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend. At the loss of her much-beloved sister, I watched as Cheryl turned to God for strength. She expresses joy and sorrow through her poetry, and I am the proud owner of one written just for me. Cheryl has reached out to her community with great compassion.
